What is the Almanak Platform?

The Almanak Platform lets you build, deploy, and manage autonomous DeFi agents, from signal detection to on-chain execution. It runs on a continuous lifecycle of four phases: Edge, Build, Deploy, and Monitor. Every strategy is authored in Python and run against a local mainnet fork before the code is finalized. You can backtest strategies against historical data to evaluate performance before deploying them. Once ready, strategies deploy on-chain inside your own non-custodial Safe wallet. Permissions are scoped through Zodiac Roles, so each strategy can only touch what you've explicitly approved. See Workflow for how the lifecycle works.

What is the Almanak SDK?

The Almanak SDK is the open-source Python framework for developing and deploying autonomous DeFi agents. It's built on an intent-based architecture, so strategies are expressed as high-level intents like Swap, LP, or Borrow rather than raw transaction code. The SDK powers the Build phase of the Almanak Platform and includes backtesting, three-tier state management, and support for both deterministic and agentic, LLM-driven strategies. How safe are my funds?

Your funds remain under your control through the 1/1 SAFE smart account. Almanak Deployments never have access to your private keys or wallet. They can only interact with approved protocols, the ones you authorize via SAFE's Zodiac Role modifier. The smart account architecture ensures that only you maintain control and full custody of your funds.

Does Almanak have access to my wallet?

No. Almanak never has access to your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet permissions. We use smart account technology to delegate only specific protocol interactions to Deployments, based on the permissions you approve.

What chains and protocols do Almanak Deployments interact with?

How do Almanak Deployments make decisions?

Strategies operate as the "brain" of your Deployments, determining what actions to take. Strategies in the Almanak Platform are Python applications that define the automated decision-making and execution logic for your DeFi operations. Implemented as state machines, these strategies are designed to run on Almanak's high-reliability infrastructure while maintaining privacy and security.

Can I withdraw funds and deactivate my Deployments anytime?

Yes, you can deactivate Almanak Deployments at any time and withdraw your funds from the SAFE wallet to your desired address.

Do I need to pay to use the Almanak Platform?

Almanak offers multiple plan tiers. Compute-intensive features like Almanak Code conversations and strategy generation draw on a weekly credit allowance that scales with your plan tier and resets globally every Friday at 00:00 UTC. Is there a token?
